The Nadler Law Group is pleased to announce that Elliott Furst recently joined our firm. Prior to joining The Nadler Law Group, Mr. Furst spent over 25 years as Senior Counsel for the Attorney General of Washington, where his practice focused on litigation and advice regarding environmental and general regulatory issues. Mr. Furst has litigated over 100 cases before state administrative boards, including the Pollution Control Hearings Board, and has extensive trial court and appellate experience in both state and federal courts. While representing the State of Washington, Mr. Furst was lead attorney in several high profile matters, including the ASARCO bankruptcy litigation (resulting in a record recovery for the State of $188 million), the Hanford natural resource damage litigation, and challenges to workplace smoking regulations. Mr. Furst was also co-counsel in the ongoing litigation to remediate and recover natural resource damages in the Upper Columbia River.  In addition to litigation, Mr. Furst has served as the State’s primary legal advisor on rule-making, regulatory reform, MTCA/CERCLA natural resource damage issues, and negotiated consent decrees for several MTCA sites, including Washington’s first two MTCA NRD settlements.  We are delighted to have Mr. Furst join The Nadler Law Group team!
